I recommend Dr. Richard D. Ranallo for decompression therapy! About ten years ago, I was diagnosed with a herniated disc L5 Si. The symptoms were unbearable with severe pain in my lower back, and left hip and left leg. I tried acupuncture, physical therapy, massage therapy, hypnosis, and epidurals (three to be exact). I look at the home movies of me with my family and the pain you seen in my face and body movements are frightening.

I spent 10 years in severe pain and sleepless nights, and I had taken many different drugs from anti-inflammatory to narcotic drugs just to be able to maintain a somewhat normal life! I was frustrated, depressed, and ready to have back surgery when I discover a technique called decompression therapy.
The first treatment with Dr. Ranallo I literally cried from the emotional release of pain. I slept that first night for the first time without medication of any type! I had four additional treatments with great success. I run every day, live a very normal life pain free. The last treatment I had was five years ago and I have not had lower back pain since. I highly recommend this treatment plan for anyone who has back pain, herniated disc or degenerative disc issues. I have personnel recommended friends, co-workers, and customers with each one of them thanking me for the referral to Dr. Ranallo. Another point is his professional caring attitude. He was never pushy, never tried to get me to purchase any advance treatments or upfront monies. In the first 4 ½ decades of my life, taking off weight and keeping it off was never a problem. I knew what to do, how to do it and my plan always worked, even after several pregnancies… UNTIL I hit menopause. I live in Charles City, VA which is a one hour drive to see Dr. Ranallo for Spinal Decompression. I started seeing him for my neck pain and then eventually for my lower back pain. I have a degenerative disease in my neck and lumber spine. I started treatment with Dr. Ranallo in 2004. Now it is June 2010. He has helped me more than any other doctor that I have been to, which has been many.

I went to a doctor in West Point, VA because my hip was hurting me when Dr. Ranallo was on vacation. This was one year ago. When the doctor saw my X-Rays that were taken she asked me who I had been seeing for my neck and back issues. I told her Dr. Ranallo for spinal decompression since 2004. She than told me that if I were not seeing Dr. Ranallo, I would have been in a wheelchair along time ago. She said whatever you do, don't stop seeing Dr. Ranallo to keep and up with the maintanance which is about once monthy. Thanks to Dr. Ranallo I can do anything I want to without surgery!
